For the field of healthcare management, ethics are vital, and a number of initiatives are
undertaken by the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) for demonstrating the
commitment of organization to ethics along with supporting its members in making moral
choices. The purpose if this paper is to examine the individual ethics’ influence on making of the
decision within the industry of health care. The paper will also discuss the outcome of selfassessment regarding my own ethical making of decision, along with discussing the impacts of
professional American College of Healthcare Executives standards on the ethical decision

The Respect for Autonomy Principle
According to this principle, one needs to respect the decisions that other individuals made
associated with their own. This principle avoids interference in the judgments of able adults.
The Beneficence Principle
According to this principle, one must bring good in his every action. One needs to take
positive steps for preventing harm, according to this principle.
The non-maleficence Principle
This principle states that an individual must not plan for harming others along with trying
to avoiding and minimizing it.
