Four inequalities to solve:

1. -2 < x + 3 < 5

2. 6( x - 1/3) - 5 <= 5(x-2) +2

3. 6+ x/3 <= 8

4. 8p - 9 => 2p + 3

( => , <=  means equal too and greater or equal to and less)

1)    -2 < x + 3 < 5

      -2 < x < 5-3

     -2 < x < 2

it shows x is greater than -2 and less then 2 so the possible values are -1,0,1

2)    6(x-1/3)-5 <= 5(x-2) + 2

       6( 3x-1/3)-5 <= 5x -10 +2        take the l.c.m

       2(3x-1) -5 <= 5x-8

       6x -2 -5 <= 5x -8

      6x -5x <= -8 +7

       x <= -1

3)      6 + x/3 <= 8

        18 + x/3 <= 8                take the l.c.m

       18 +x <= 24

          x <= 24-18

         x <= 6

4)     8p -9 => 2p +3

       8p - 2p => 3 + 9

      6p => 12

     p => 12/6

    p => 2
