At what point do they intersect?

2x + y = 4

3y = 2x =12

basically we need to find the point of intersection lets suppose the point pf intersection is P( x, y) now we need to find x and y coordinates.

subtract equation 2 from 1

2x + y - 3y - 2x = 4 -12

-2y = -8

y = 4

put the value of y in equation 1 we will get

2x + 4 = 4

2x = 0 

x = 0

so the point is P( 0, 4)
