  1. yes, it enabled communities that resisted civilization to be civilized by force. it has since then led to developments in human interaction with his environment.
  2. no. cities was a sign of civilization in old times, old cities were a preserve of culture to last as opposed to cultures without towns.
  3. yes, as civilization advances the need to stay in towns where better services can be provided economically seems as the way of the future, better transportation will see the interior being opened up despite people staying in towns.
