How Am I Doing? Balancing School and Life - My Quality of Life Self-Care Plan. The purpose of developing this Plan is to set a framework and a plan to maintain wellness and to stay motivated and engaged throughout your Program. How am I doing?
With the pressure that exists between paying for school, completing the coursework and
enjoying experience at the college, life can sometimes be overwhelming. Between schoolwork,
working and maintenance of social life at the college, it can look like a very daunting job to
ensure that everything is done well without being stressed as we have trouble to maintain a
balanced schedule. For students to improve functioning, they must establish an equilibrium
between the different roles and plays. As a scholar, one will always wear several hats.
Currently, my score as far as the "Quality of life self-care wheel" is concerned is at 7.
This stand is a change of two points from the previous time when I evaluated my scores. The
previous score was at 5. Despite this score being less than what I target at 9, I hold that the
direction in which I am moving is the right one. This is regarding balancing my social and school
life along with management of the tensions as well...
