The final assignment is a Sound Log — NOT a recording, but a description — of the sound track of a short Science Fiction film titled Voshkod, available on youtube:(If you experience difficulty viewing the film on youtube, please let me know and I will make a version available on Moodle.).The task is to create a log, a list of the sounds you hear, using the categories we explored in the chapters on Film Sound — ADR/Dialogue, Sound Effects, Foley, Music, and describe how these sounds support the action and mood of the film. Note whether the sounds you hear are diegetic or non-diegetic, if processing is used in order to create specific effects, and how the soundscape of the film relates to the film's storyline and dramatic arc.
