Question Description

Im trying to figure out whats wrong with my car, it will idle but when I hit the gas it dies. If I block the intake it`ll run fine. I put a new fuel pump, fuel regulator, and throttle postion sensor in it and it still has that problem, can anyone tell me or give me a guess what it might be?.

Clean the throttle body ports, check you air/fuel ratio, replace the intake sensor. Or you can try resetting the ECU by removing the power wire from the battery for a day or so. If the car runs fine after that, get a diagnostic done at your local part deartment. If it continues the same after resetting the ECU, something in the ECU is hard coded, meaning, you will need to take it to a machanic.

Tutor went the extra mile to help me with this essay. Citations were a bit shaky but I appreciated how well he handled APA styles and how ok he was to change them even though I didnt specify. Got a B+ which is believable and acceptable.
