awareness on various mental health issues. Various mental health issues have been brought
into public awareness, such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, alcohol addiction and
substance abuse among others. The role of the film industry in increasing awareness of
existent mental issues plays an important role in making individuals aware of the different
forms that mental health issues manifest themselves. For example, alcohol addiction is not
easily identified by an individual since it is normally concealed by a façade of social activity
