Roles of Various Groups and the Nation-States
Some of the groups that participated in the Myanmar genocide included the United
Nations, through its judicial organ, the international court of justice, rights lawyers, and the
attorney for the African nation of Gambia and the Security Council. The United Nations perform
the intervention role physically by warring countries to facilitate aid provisions to help in
countering the threat to peace or stopping the ongoing conflict. The intervention can be in the
form of advice or settling the legal disputes of the states per the international law (Paddock,
