so I think your question got cut off but a perfect square is number multiplied to itself

so 6*6 = 36   36 would be a perfect square or 3*3=9 9 would be the perfect square

the number can be even or odd. perfect squares can also be written as 6^2 the power is always to the 2nd. for a perfect square.
