Can ethics be taught in a corporate training environment? If so, discuss
how you would conduct such training? If not, discuss why and how
employees would come to understand the corporate ethical values and act
Ethics training should be a corporation's responsibility. The need for Ethics training can be created by regulations imposed by governments, or sometimes by changes needed in the culture of a corporation.
Ethical training should teach employees to make ethical decisions/choices in the workplace. Employees should be trained to evaluate a choice with regard to the mission/code of the corporation. When making such decisions, employees should be trained to consider the company and the clients, and also consider the consequences of each decision with regard to both. Ethics training could comprise "role-play' and scenarios to consider in workplace training sessions, with guidance from appropriate personnel.
