Week 6 DQ 2, statistics homework help
A pharmaceutical company conducts a study to evaluate the relationship between length of time taking drug X and size of tumor. They enlist 2,400 patients with the same type of benign tumor who have been on drug X for varying lengths of time (measured in days). They find that the longer the patient is on the drug, the smaller the patient’s tumor size (measured in volume). In fact, they report the results as r(2398) = -.21, with significance of p < .0001. What is your initial perception of this information? What are other ways, beyond looking at the p-value alone, you could use to try to interpret what this outcome of r(2398) = -.21 tells us about the relationship between length of time taking drug X and the size of the tumor? Support your responses. Please provide a 250 word response to the above question. Please also use at least 1 peer reviewed article as a reference and please list reference in paper in APA 6th edition format.

Section 23.1. The data set is the primary one presented in the text,
called grade.sav. This includes the five quiz scores as
the dependent variables and section number and status as the
independent variables. Referring to the directions at the end of Section
23.1, run the Bonferroni and Tukey post hoc comparison tests. Also
include descriptive statistics, estimates of effect size, observed
power, parameter estimates, and homogeneity test. Do the analysis twice, the first time as given above, and the second time using GPA as a covariate. When you turn in your output, be sure to include a discussion (following APA 6th edition style) of the major results. Follow the directions given at the end of the chapter. Reproduce
all of the IBM SPSS output from the analysis and copy and paste them
into a Word document called week8assign.doc. Also see
the Data Analysis Formatting Guidelines, linked in the Resources, for
more information. The entire assignment for this week is due by Sunday
at midnight, Central Standard Time, in the assignment area.
