School: Boston College

In the current technological and highly competitive era education and qualification is everything . Higher education is a mist for securing a persons future . School education is no longer enough . A person at minimum needs a undergraduate or bachelor's degree or masters in a course in order to get a good job with decent pay . College education not only helps a person to be ready for the real world working conditions but also imparts scientific and mature thinking into him . Engineering and medical jobs are not only stable but also high paying .

During recession though there was loss of jobs in manufacturing and small jobs in food industry , tourism and other part time jobs etc , engineering and medical remained strong . For a country to progress we needs highly qualified people in various fields . The Apollo missions succeeded because of the hard work of thousands of engineers and scientists .

Higher education also helps in making a person choose what he really wants to do , what work or carrier does he want to pursue . Without higher educated they will be a huge pool of unskilled low education workers in huge quantities and thus unemployment rate will rise . Many may resort to theft , robbery , murders and other criminal activities or make take the ultimate step that is suicide . A generation will be lost to drugs and other unwanted problems . Thus higher education is a must to secure a persons future .
