Explanation & Answer

The difference between scholarly resources and popular resources is that scholarly is written for and by faculty, like researchers or scholars, Historians, doctors, artist, etc. They also tend to be longer articles made for research. Popular articles are usually written by journalists or professional writers for a general audience. When searching for online articles online at any library including a college or university you must make sure the keywords are correct and know at least the name of the source and author your exactly looking for. Or once you get on the school website you can do an advanced search on any subject and in return get all the online articles that you want especially online journals for an English or Sociology course.
