Barriers to communication process
The communication process involves sharing of important information in an
organization with the intention of the receiver understanding the message of the sender. The
effectiveness of an organization process of communication is the main determinant of its
success (Dogan, 2016). Meanwhile, there are barriers in communication process in each and
every organization. Some of these barriers include; one, the overload of the information to be
delivered. In this a lot of care should be taken when it comes to providing information
because bulky information is at high risk of being lost because of overload, the managers
should know how a certain employee is capable of processing information and the amount he
or she can be given.
Second, Communication that contains information that is improper and inadequate.
Proper information must be meaningful because it includes the language rule with the choice
of best words. Poor information either in writing or speaking creates ambiguity and leads to
information misinterpretations in an organization (Kavakebi et al..., 2016). A good or bad
body language can either attract a positive or negative response from the listeners.
The third barrier to effective communication process is noise. This is whereby there is
loud or unwanted noise either in the communication background that interrupts proper
