Although it is technically legal to film police officers while in action, violence does occur
immediately police officers realize that a journalist is filming or videotaping them. In this
situation, police officers tend to use excessive force to disrupt the journalist and stop them from
discharging their duties. Sometimes, they force journalists to delete the already captured images
and videos. The conflict escalates to a situation where police officers snatch cameras and
accompanying resources from the journalists. Besides, journalists face physical threats and abuse
from the police officers. Police officers are supposed to offer security to journalists who
