I’m trying to learn for my Algebra class and I’m stuck. Can you help?

 5 employees 3 are assigned an office 2 are to be assigned a cubicle if 3 of the employees are men and 2 are women and if those assigned an office are to be chosen at random what is the probability that the offices will be assigned to 2 men & 1 women

Final Answer

The total number of ways = 5C3=5*4*3/(3*2*1)= 10

The number of ways 2 men out of 3 men can be chosen is 3C2 =3

The number of ways 1 woman out of 2 women can be chosen is 2C1 =2

Total number ofcombinations = 3*2

The required probability =6/10 =0.6
