Question Description

I have a simple registration form which has a username field, email field and a password field and register button. But I want to add a activation feature so that I dont get spammed in my db.

If there is anyone that can do it. It will help me a lot!

Here is the register code. http://pastie.org/8273556

And here is the activation column image: http://i.imgur.com/o78NGVs.png

If the person gets the activation email in his email account and he clicks it, the activation column should change the value from 0 to 1, if he doesn't clicks it. There should be like a timer. If he doesn't clicks within 24 hours, it gets deleted from the db.

Thank you.

Here is a link of a PHP script that has a built in email activation required. The script is simple enough to modify. For a fee, I can modify the script to use PDO, instead of almost deprecated regular MySQL.
