With more than 100 satisfied local as well as international customers globally, MT has made it’s spot as an highly progressing company in Oman. The company thrives to keep up the industry’s standards. The company has more than 400 employees and assets of OMR 5 Million. The CEO- Mr. Abdullah, focuses highly on maintaining both professional and trained individuals to ensure quality output. He strongly believes that the product quality have a high impact on customer satisfaction and retention. The company aims at providing quantifiable business value to customers through most current uses of technology to organizations worldwide. Focused teams are formed to handle any new project from the beginning and a combined business experience is applied to achieve the best customer service and expected results. However, through these years a concerning and unexpected amount of resources are utilized for software maintenance which may include either fixing the code or a requirement for reengineering. Even though the peer reviews were encouraged, but the programmers exhibit a fear that a critical review may affect their individual performance evaluation. Further, the resources essential to manage the number of change orders upcoming on a specific project were high, subsequent in budget overruns and extensive lead times. Some of the project-associated data about the software development process was available but it was not gathered or systematically analyzed. A part of total procedures and software processes were obtainable but were not well customized, measured, controlled and entirely documented.
