Information management systems are vital to set ups used to process, store and retrieve critical
data in organizations. The systems have been developed for a long time by human beings in an
attempt to simplify decision-making processes. However, different organizations may adopt
different information management systems based on their activities. Google and the World Bank
are two distinct organizations dealing in the provision of separate services and products. Google
is a technological organization dealing on internet best services as well as software, whereas the
World Bank is the organization that provides financial services such loans to the developing
countries around the world. Therefore, the two exhibits differences in their information
management systems. However, being business enterprises, there are some similarities in the
information management systems by the two international organizations. Information systems
are crucial in the management of the organizations. Critical decision-making processes depend
on the management information systems as well as the information technology. Both Google and
the World Bank have been able to utilize information technology to their competitive advantages
just like any other organizations. Thus, information technology is essential in today’s business
world to both individual sand organizations. However, there some negative impacts of
