PROCESS PAPER

Write a process paper that explains your efforts during the project. Your essay should be
between 300 and 500 words.
Choosing a topic requires that one chooses something that they are very driven and
passionate about. That is why I went with the Iraq war during the reign of George Bush. It
marked a very important time in the history of the United States, and it cannot be ignored. The
Iraq war weights a lot on the United States as well as how they are viewed within the globe,
especially at the time. It was two years after they had been attacked. The thing with superpower
countries is that they have to show that they indeed have everything under control. The attack in
September 2001 showed that their security system was not as bulletproof as they had thought.
The two planes had been hacked, and they had not known about it until it was too late.
Therefore, they had to show that they were capable of taking care of their citizens.
The fight against terrorism is fresh and high driving within the United States. When they
learned of the weapons for mass destruction manufacturing in Iraq, they took it upon themselves
to fight it at all costs. They were also targeted to eliminate the Alqueda terrorist group leader,
which caused more problems within the United States and other countries. That is why I chose
the different resources that would get from the library and other scholarly sites which have good
coverage of the events as well as the history of the United States. I chose the word format to
present the paper as it is well compiled as well as easy to access. The Iraq war had several effects
on the American economy. The topic also translates to how some Americans act today when it
comes to the Muslims. That is the effects of the 9-11 led to the Iraq war and impacted on how
some of the people view other religions.

The terrorist attack pushed
him to form the patriotic act,

Iraq War

After the 9-11, the country
was on high alert on
terrorists, and when they had
that Saddam Hussein was
building weapons for mass
destruction, Bush waged the
Iraq war.

George Bush –Iraq War
After the September 11, 2001 attack on US soil, so many people lost their lives. It also
shone a light on the security of the United States. That had been attacked without their
knowledge, and they were not able to prevent any causalities. What they were now doing was
handling the mess that came after the attack. Therefore, everyone was on edge, seeing as the
attack was mastermind by Muslim terrorist groups, the safety of the Muslims in the US was no

constituted them harassing the Muslims that they came along in their daily routines. That is why,
when Bush was convinced that Iraq, a country full of Muslims and president Saddam Hussein
