Nov 22nd, 2017

Let x be the angle  A

Complementary angle = 90-x

Supplementary angle =180-x

90-x =1/2 (180-x) -20

90-x = 90-1/2x -20= 70 -1/2x

90-70 =x-1/2x=1/2x

20 =1/2 x

1/2 x= 20

x=40

Verification 50 = (180-40)/2-20= 70-20

Answer : angle A 40 degrees
