Many of the developed companies spread their services and products in many
regions including outside the state of establishment.This is usually for the purposes of
reaching more customers while enhancing its business by broadening its market. This
helps the company to grow and accrue more income. However this is not without various
challenges. One of the challenges is borne by its staff who undergoes a hard time while
they and their spouses and children try to adopt the way of life in a foreign state.
When a firm establishes a branch in a foreign nation, it transfers some of its
experienced employees to work in the foreign new branches.These people encounter
problems especially before they get used to the new environment. However companies
can prevent or mitigate such challenges. This can be through according ample time to the
anticipated employees moving to the new countries to visit them before being posted for
employment. The businesses should fund their visits in order for them to go and survey
the new environment. This will instill confidence of being capable to coup in the new
foreign environment even when they move with their spouses and children.
Conducting educational sessions to the employees by the company about the new
environment is an important may to prevent this kind of problem. This can include but
not limited to educating them about the local lang...
