I do not understand how to do this equation problem

Please post the problem. Looks like it has not appeared .

I will do a similar problem here so that you can understand it .

100x^2-200x+9y^2+18y = 791

100x^2-200x+9y^2+18y = 791 + 100 +9 -100 -9

100x^2 -200x +100 +9y^2+18y+9 =791+100+9

(I put -100 , -9 , +100,+9 because I want to take -100 and -9 to left side so that I can make an equation )

100(x^2-2x+1) +9(y^2+2y+1) =900

Factorize,

x^2-2x+1 = x^2-1x-1x+1= x(x-1)-1(x-1) = (x-1)(x+1)=(x-1)^ 2

y^2+2y+1 = y^2+1y+1y+1=y(y+1)+1(y+1) = (y+1)(y+1)=(y+1)^ 2

Now,

100×(x-1)^ 2 + 9(y+1)^ 2 = 900

Divide by 900

(x-1)^ 2/9 + (y+1)^2/100 = 1
