A drug is well described as any substance that is not food when inhaled, smoked,
injected, absorbed into the body via a skin patch or even absorbed into the body system under
the tongue causes the body to experience a physiological change. There are various types of
drugs namely depressants, stimulants, cannabis, inhalants, and hallucinogens.
Depressants are also known as downers. These kind of drugs come in capsules and
multicoloured tablets or may also come in liquid form. They are referred to as antipsychotics
are major tranquilizers due to their ability to reduce the mental illness symptoms. Some drugs
such as Amytal are known as barbiturates hence they acted as sedatives and used for sleeping.
Their consumption brings about the short term effects ranging from slowed pulse and
breathing, confusion, poor concentration, slowed brain function, dizziness, fatigue, slurred
