I think that age has a huge impact on the memory and attention of a person. As a person
ages, their mental ability starts to decline in the sense that they may not be able to remember as
much as they could before or focus their attention well. The part of the brain that is responsible
for storing memories is the hippocampus and as a result of age, this portion will start to
deteriorate, affecting how well memories are formed and stored. In terms of culture, I do not
think this has much of an influence on memory and attention as an environmental factor.
