Thank you for all your support that you have given to the start and growth of the company. Our
company, Bountiful Organic Produces, will be located in Brazil. Brazil offers one of the best
spots in the world that can aid in the production of organic foods. There has been an increase in
demand for organic crops in the United States with exports that amount to millions of tons per
year. Brazil is the best candidate due to efforts by farmers to produce organic crops with the
lands having good climates that are suitable for farming.
Brazil is located in South America covering 8,459 kilometers of land and 55,460 square
kilometers of water. It is the 5th largest country in the world. Its economic progress between 2003
and 2014 lifted over 29 million people out of poverty. The country has a strong economy with
200.4 million people stirring it up (Nica, 2013). The country is a leading exporter in agricultural
produce with one of the biggest importers being the United States.
Brazil borders all South American
countries with the exception of Chile
and Ecuador. The countries include;
Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, French
Guiana, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru,
Suriname, Uruguay, and Venezuela. The major water body surrounding Brazil is the Atlantic
Ocean. The ocean forms a 4,655 miles of coastline in the country. Some of the other significant
water bodies include; Amazon River, Paraguay River and Parana River (Alvares et al, 2013).
