Customers currently interact with different brands through social media. The key to tapping
into a client’s interest is by having a strong social media marketing plan. YouTube is one social
media platform that Trilogy should use to showcase its brand. YouTube is a platform for creating
video contents. Most businesses think that letting a video go viral is a guaranteed success in selling
its brand. To market your brand successfully on YouTube, you need to create useful, instructive
“how-to” videos which add the benefit of ranking to video search results of Google for effective
marketing. Another platform is Tumblr, which has an exciting networking platform. Tumblr allows
a variety of post formats like chat, text, quote, photo, audio, and video. If Trilogy wants to put ads
on Tumblr, it has the option of running an advertising campaign without the need to connect to a
blog on Tumblr. You can also rework ads from somewhere else online without the need to design
dedicated content for Tumblr (Parker, 2011).

YouTube a million subscribers that are glued to it every now and again. First, when marketing on
YouTube Trilogy must keep in mind that it is a social media tool with a great audience and
community with its official rules and culture. Traditional types of ads do not work on YouTube so
Trilogy should strive to make content and not ads. Your brand will not sell if you do not do it in a
creative and engaging manner so when creating a video content, put in mind the shareability factor
(why your followers will want to share you content). You should also be the face of your business
since YouTube is made up of real people who want to interact with other real people. You should
leverage the new one channel design by creating a quality channel header that is a representation
of Trilogy and a channel trailer that will only show up for non-subscribers.
Trilogy will gain a greater market if you push people to your channel. Drawing people to
your channel is possible if each video description has your website link and also in the “about”
section or the header of your channel. Brickflow, a company, founded by Peter Langmar uses the
B2B business model which is aimed at marketers and Journalists attempting to tell social media
stories. The organization tracks social media conversation hashtags to generate cinematic

For your marketing to succeed on Tumblr, you have to engage with members of this
community by commenting and responding to comments; this earns their trust. Again focus on
great images since the most percentage of posts on Tumblr are photos. Try to follow other blogs
by reposting relevant posts from other Tumblr blogs as a show of support. Above all, link to your
business website so that Tumblr users can access your profile off Tumblr (Parker, 2011).
