1. Adjudication process, disposition, and treatment of the juvenile
The outcome of the adjudication process in Kymyada’s case is involved with three parties
with each collecting their required information. The attorney, Don Wrack in Kymyada’s case,
guides, asks and directs the juvenile on what to explain at the face of the jury. The petition filed
by her mother is heard in the courtroom with the presence of all pieces of evidence. She is allowed
to explain the misunderstanding and issue her requests as per the court rulings. The disposition
received from the judge, in this case, is issued twice. First, Kymyada’s detention is extended to
curb her behavior. Later on, falling on common agreement among all the parties allows the juvenile
to be released on conditions such as attention from family, homebuilders’ care, and GED
enrollment. The juvenile in this detention facility and law court is treated with the conscience of
reforming her understanding and morality rather than punishing her delinquency.
