Terrorism has been a significant problem in the United States, whether it is domestic or
international terrorism; this has become one of the substantial areas of focus by various police
departments and agencies. After major terror attacks such as 9/11, police, law enforcement,
security, and intelligence agencies have found it prudent to be prepared, therefore they have
evaluated their policy, rules, and regulations on how to deal and mitigate the effect of terrorism in
the country. Various posts have emerged, such as counterterrorism units in the Department of
Defense, Homeland securities Federal Bureau of Investigations, among others. They have tried to
uncover multiple forms of terrorism, such as domestic and imprint terrors.
These agencies decided to join forces in uncovering and profiling the terrorist or potential
terrors to people or groups that may seem less dangerous. They have enabled police officers and
other law enforcement to employ resilience in dealing with situations that may or may not seem to
be terror-related. This is in line with preparedness to prevent it from happening since it has proved
