The chosen tactic for revising the essay is “revising to improve organization and focus
(narrowing in).” This tactic first entails developing great sentence outlines for very paragraph
and ensuring that the content of every paragraph is aligned with the arguments put forth in the
topic sentence. This strategy ensures that each paragraph is argumentative and in support of the
thesis statement. This tact aligns paragraphs to ensure that there is coherence throughout the
paragraph, as well as meaning in the content that is put across. This strategy helped in aligning
the paragraphs in the report according to the given feedback.
The second aspect when using this tactic is developing a flowchart that indicates how the
various topic sentences align with and support the thesis statement. The first level of the
flowchart is filled with the major ideas and arguments for the essay; the second level of the
flowchart contains the details and support arguments, whereas the examples are documented in
the third level. This arrangement ensures that the paragraphs contain enough support arguments
and examples sufficient in convincing the reader. This step in the revision also ensures that all
ideas are developed in a manner that does not leave unanswered questions. The flowchart also
helps to verify that the arguments put forth throughout the paragraphs make sense and flow from
one argument to the next. The use of this strategy in the revision helped to ensure that the
arguments put forth in the report complement each other.
The final tactic used in the revision process is the one-inch frame. This entails visualizing
the arguments within a single scene of the narration and ascertaining that they are relevant and
effective in offering the desired meaning or perspective. The use of this strategy helped in
evaluating each argument and ensuring that it is aligned with the theme of the report and the
topic sentence of the paragraph.

Western Feminist Approaches
There is evidently great disparity in how feminists address various issues facing women
in the society. This disparity is brought about by the many factors acting on societal agencies and
organizations including racial differences, socioeconomic differences, differences in class, an/d
cultural differences. Among these differences, the most determining factor in influencing
feminist movements and approaches is socioeconomic factors. According to Charlesworth,
Chinkin, & Wright (1991), socioeconomically empowered women tend to have better
representation as compared to socioeconomically disadvantaged women. Similarly important is
the fact that there are many ills against socioeconomically challenged women, which are yet to
be voiced and solutions sought. Many of the challenges facing women in the society including
sex trafficking, access to education, systemic oppression, domestic violence, issues facing
women in prisons, poverty and homelessness, child marriage, sexual violence, female genital
mutilation (FGM) and many others tend to happen to the socioeconomically marginalized
groups. Despite the occurrence of these ills against women in the society, western feminism
movements tend to focus more on issues facing the economically empowered women such as
gender pay gap, gender equality, reproductive health rights, representation of women in politics,
representation in corporate boards, and unequal pay in some sectors of the economy such as
high-tech sector. Western feminist groups have shown greater concern over the latter women
issues as compared to the former women i...
