Introduction ports medicine which are both specialists in the surgery of shoulders made an observation that the braces which are generally available in the market does not fulfills the requirements of the patients and hence there must be some solution to this problem. Hence these both specialists look for the solution other than braces which could be used for the prevention of dislocation of the shoulder. After research they came to a unanimous solution of making a shoulder stabilizer which is more easy to use and have much more effect than the braces. 1.2 List of Team members1.1 Market needs and Project problem statement The shoulder stabilizer brace is designed for the purpose of stabilizing, assisting or restricting the movement of the shoulder after any injury occurred or after any operation. It is designed in such a way that its features perforated neoprene which holds the skin such that the support of shoulder also moves with it. It is very easy to use and the smooth as well as controlled assistance enable it to move the muscles as well as joints naturally. The elastic straps are present which allows it to become highly adaptable and in this way makes it easy for moving around. This design is very unique as it allows you to use it on both either left or right shoulder. This thing is very important as injury on either shoulder can be easily handled with the same shoulder stabilizer and in this way it will have more market. There is very much market need for this product and this product was actually conceived after the physicians as well as orthopedic of s · Abdulrahman Alghamdi · Faris Alanazi · Almuhannad Sallah 1.3 Project Timeline This is the project timeline proper time is needed for doing background knowledge as well as identifying the need of this product and problem statement. Then the most important thing is to make conceptual sketches hence it took most of the time as they must be relaxing and safe and benefit people from recovering from injuries. 2. Background There are several explanations for having a brace for shoulder. You must have it primarily for protecting your shoulder, injury recovery, help during exercise, pain management, training and compression of the shoulder among other health related benefits. The shoulder braces are thought to assist in a variety of ways after injury. These include support for the shoulder and compression of the skin and tissues around it. If you have been strained, shoulder brace is used during the healing process to support and protect the shoulder. Braces also helps to reduce the pain coming from inflammation of joints. A brace helps your injured muscles to weaken and practically removes the risk of overdoing it. Your shoulder will be kept in position with the best shoulder brace, keeping it from sprains and strains. Again, the span of movement is limited, and chances of dislocating your shoulder are minimum. Shoulder brace provide medicinal heat to improve blood circulation in the shoulder joint. Also, they support spine and shoulders that relieves back and neck pains from the patient to relieve you of any shoulder-related discomfort and pain. Against the belts, the muscles work harder if more resistance is provided by the braces. Muscles are strengthened in the process. Compression of the shoulder strengthens skin receptors that communicate with the brain creating a greater understanding of the area which is affected. If you get a shoulder brace that are of the exact size that you require then they will benefit the most. You will feel comfortable by using that brace and there are chances that you can recover from the injuries more quickly. Individuals wear shoulder braces for various reasons. Makers make supports to meet the various needs and all things considered, you just need to purchase a brace intended to help in your damage agony of shoulder joint condition. There are braces specifically designed for rotator cuff in the shoulder, others for shoulder joint fractures, and others for arthritis and other chronic shoulder conditions. Check the vendor's requirements to find out which one suits you. Cold and hot therapy studies have proved to be effective in areas with acute pain.A type of treatment in which a limb or whole body is submerged in water with high temperature (but not boiling temperature) followed by the quick insertion of the limb or body in ice filled tub. Perform this process several times, mixing hot and cold water. It is best to know if hot or cold therapy should be used in different situations. Use the cold therapy if there is swelling, or redness. 3. Concept Design and Specifications 3.1 Operational Requirements and Design Requirements As we all know that shoulder needs special attention and it is more likely to get injured than other joints of our body and that is because it was important to have such design. As there were other solutions as well to reduce the pain of injury like putting an ice to the place where it hurts but shoulder stabilizer was the best choice as it gives quick relief from pain and prevent from getting more injured or any dislocation of joints. We want our design to be different but as effective, we are planning on adding mechanical switches to the brace so it can hold a person’s arms for no more than 90 degrees but also have the flexibility to switch to roaming mode, also we would like to add a heat/cold storage such that the brace can carry cold or hot water to help relief the pain, we want to make sure It must be design in such a manner that the person can do the routine tasks easily and it may not cause any problem for him or her to have normal activities. Day by day the number of people using shoulder stabilizer is increasing. If you get a shoulder brace that are of the exact size that you require then they will benefit the most. You will feel comfortable by using that brace and there are chances that you can recover from the injuries more quickly. There are some operational requirements which it must fulfil in order to be a good design. 3.1.1 Support Support may be fundamental, high or moderate.Small sizebraces that provide the right support, are made from stretchable lightweight materials and can be modified. In general, these braces are supportive and you can wear them for long durations.Patients who are recovering from surgery or from a very unwanted pain can use braces which are providing maximum support to the patient. Athletes usually have braces with medium support. They cover a large shoulder area and are made from a thick cloth.Consider the width of the straps when choosing a shoulder brace, and where the straps pass.Consider the strap material too. A strong stretchable material neoprene is used because, during hot weather, it makes you sweat. 3.1.2 Size The majority of the shoulder braces are designed to fit a wide range of users with adjustable straps. But just because it doesn't mean an adjustable brace can fit you.A custom made brace offers optimal protection and provides you with all the benefits of a good brace while a poorly fitted brace is nuisance and provides little or no support. 3.1.3 Style & Comfort In an event if you are a competitor, you will wear a brace for quite a while and accordingly, you need one that is up-to-date and fit on your shoulder. Pick a brace that isn't cumbersome and whose shading doesn't appear under different garments. Pick one that is anything but difficult to wear, simple to wash and, if there should arise an occurrence of cold and hot treatment supports, one that is anything but difficult to gather. Hence this Shoulder Brace is best as it is built with a great balance of support comfort, and its style provides the ability to help with many shoulder joint problems. This Shoulder Brace unlike all other braces where one size can fit all, is available in four sizes to suit individuals of small size and plus size. The breathable content keeps it cool and gentle on the skin during hot weather. It's sleek, less voluminous and sold at a reasonable price, again. It has the most important features like it has the most comfortable material in which one can easily breathe. One can easily adjust according to the need. It proves to be best for healing. Easily adjustable for almost all shoulder sizes. 3.2 Concept Drawings (This is what should the device look like) (Our design after the update) 3.3 Concept Selection Process This was selected once we saw it as it was the best according to our needs it provided the elastic straps are present which allows it to become highly adaptable and in this way makes it easy for moving around. This can be easily adjusted according to your size and hence can be used by many people of the same family as well. Another very important thing was that this design allows you to use it on both either left or right shoulder which makes it very unique. Moreover, the material we are using are breathable and makes it easier for you to move around even with the bad injury. So these were the main reasons because of which it was selected and no other design was selected other than this because according to our research this was the most favorable design for the patients. 3.5 Design constraints This design should provide the limitation needed to the injured customer and the comfort needed at efficient durability. 3.5.1 Functional This Device should help the healing process of injured shoulders and still provide them with the comfort needed. 3.5.2 Safety The device should not pose any threats to the user as it a shoulder stabilizer which should help healing the patient. 3.5.3 Quality This device must meet FDA regulation, by providing the materials needed and test it to make sure it is meeting the FDA standard. 3.5.4 Manufacturing This device should not be expensive to make and still retain the quality and comfort needed 3.5.6 Economic This device price should be close enough so can be provided for customers of low income while maintaining its status as one the best in the market. 3.5.7 Ergonomic This device should provide the flexibility to travel with and can be stored in a small storage area. 3.5.8 Ecological This device should be made with despoisbal materials that should not harm the environment. 3.5.9 Aesthetic This device should look compact enough for it uses and still retain the complex parts and make it not shown as much as possible. 3.5.10 Life cycle This device should last as long as used with care and for its intended use.

(About Shoulder Stabilizer)

Computer aided 3D printing of Shoulder Stabilizer comes in with the possibilities of
getting rid of a number of complications. Top on the list is that these designs allow for precision
to be featured in solutions. Models and designs would be able to resection tumours and facilitate
functional reconstruction in far much better ways. (Hu, Et Al, 2019). All in all, shoulder function
would be tremendously improved with such designs decreasing complications rates.

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a plastic that is widely used for a large amount
of 3D modelling related to health uses. (). This material is hard and rigid making it an ideal
candidate in as far as properties are considered. The material is ideal for prosthesis as it has an
impact of resistance and stability under pressure. It is a far much better candidate compared to a
material like carbon fiber which cannot be easily be edited to the form that is required.

Complex models can also be made from this material for research purposes easily. This is
through a prototyping process. Other models have been made with this material without the need
for post process or very little if any is required. The disadvantage with this material however is
that it is not as flexible as we would want it to be in our design. This will add a complication as
there is need to create additional parts to be able to incorporate flexibility to our design. On its
own, when this material is used as an individual part it easily be...
