I started my truck and the battery light came on. I had to drive app 40 miles home from work, but headlights became dimmer and dimmer and by the time I got home the windows wouldn't roll up and things were going haywire with everything electrical. in driveway I turned headlights off and then there was enough juice to roll windows up. Alternator ? Or other ? Thanks

that could be few different things such as your alternator being bad, your belts could be slipping, or your starter could be dragging pulling down your battery and your alternator. you can have the alternator checked but you may want to get your battery checked as well.let me know if this is helpful to you.
