Instructor's Requirement:
To do the level of research appropriate for this proposal project, you will need to consider a variety of sources in a variety of genres. Online sources, newspapers, magazines, and scholarly journals are a good start, but don’t limit yourself to these sources. No doubt, you will skim through, read, and discover a number of sources that may never make it into the final proposal. Nonetheless, these sources may provide context or rich detail that may help to stimulate your thinking and develop the project. To facilitate this process, you will create an annotated bibliography. The annotated bibliography needs to include 6 sources—2 of which must to be from peer-reviewed academic journals or books. Each source should adhere to the following format:
1) Citation of source in either MLA or APA format (of format appropriate to your field and approved by me). The Purdue OWL site can be helpful for citation formatting.
2) A 75-word summary of the piece’s main point/argument and conclusion(s)
3) 100-125 words that discuss how each piece might be useful for the purposes of this project. In other words, engage with each piece. How does it inform your understanding? How does it fit with the other sources you’ve discovered?
In short, you will write between 1050-1200 words total for this project.
In addition to the above format, please number each source (1-6) and put an asterisk (*) next to the number of each peer-reviewed academic source.

In this book of a scientific research that cites genres of music which are very popular ,this book in
which Borthwick , Stuart , Moy and Ron has attempted to give a thorough examples of music that fit
listening culture and music culture around the world for a recommended music progress guided by
musicians in particular and artists in general in a methodological way that planned by those musician
and artists who are the leaders of the music in particular and art in general.
Forwarding music in the book , the authors examined popular music in schematic term to approach
the range of popular music genres , in addition to the examination of its histories , antecedents,
general aesthetics and sociological and political context fitted to that parts of music. In each chapter
there is sense of textual analysis concerns psychological sides that resulted from the sense of popular
music cited by the books and that textual analysis addresses many examples of genres concerns soul ,
psy, reggae , rock , funk ,heavy metal , punk rock , rap ,synthpop and many other examples that music
is filled with .This source keep a shape understanding on reader which makes difference beside other
sources that addresses genre of popular music.
