Explain the theory of “what one did, they all did” in determining criminal liability in a conspiracy. Give an example.

The laws presumes that all persons involved in the planning and commission of a crime are all equally and severally guilty, and each should be held criminally liable.  If I overhear you planning a robbery, and I do not report it to the authorities,I  am just as guilty as you who perform the actual theft.
