Press Release for United Way NCA
The United Way of the National Capital Area is a Non-profit organization that seeks to
fight for the underserved population in the Washington Capital Area. Our Mission is to improve
the lives of the neglected minority population to achieve sustainable growth. The organizations
Vision is to facilitate the improvement in health, education and financial stability while upholding
the greatest sense of ethical response. We have a rich history that spans over 100 years for caring
and changing people’s lives. At the early stages, United Way linked with charities whose proceeds
was distributed for relief purposes and emergency facilitation. The Organization has evolved in
line with the needs of the people it serves. Through the organization, individual lives and families
have been positively impacted changing the outlook of the community. We achieve this through
forging new partnerships, employing strategic relations and proper utilization of resources. With
the assistance of Donors, Volunteers, nonprofits and both the local and federal government we
