So, why do you think most folks don't critically analyze the info their presented with?  In other words, why do you think that we're so quick to believe what we're told or what we read?

1. Our society is based on specialization so we believe that because the experts are presenting this information, it must be true

2. We do not have the time, expertise or resources to verify everything we read

3. Most of the time the information presented is true even if its biased or not 100 per cent accurate
