I need to solve the equation. I need to express numbers as integers or simplified fractions. I don't get this!

5/8(x+4)=4/5x+1/4+4

open th brackets to have

5/8x+5/2=4/5x+17/4

group the like terms together

5/8x-4/5x = 17/4-5/2

solve the left handside first whose lcm is 40 to get

-7/40x

then the right handside  whose lcm is 4 to get

7/4

equate the two sides to have

-7/40x = 7/4

divide both sides by -7/40 to solve for x

x = (7/4)/(-7/40)

x= 7/4 * -40/7

x = 10
