o My 60-year old aunt gave me permission for an interview to record her health history.
o She lives in a different neighborhood in the city, but the interview was through Zoom as
compliance with the CDC guidelines for social distance amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
o She lives with her 65-year-old husband with whom they are married for 30 years, but
they have no children.
o My father happens to be her closest family member who is alive. Both parents are dead,
as well as her sister.
o She occasionally takes alcohol but quitted smoking and excessive drinking 6 years ago.
o Her current BMI is 32.5
o She is non-Hispanic white and has a medical cover. Her husband was a military general,
and she was a high school teacher for 25 years.
Present Health
o She is diagnosed with breast cancer.
o She is also diagnosed with obesity and primary hypertension.
