Remember:

If you multiply, add exponents

If you divide, subtract exponents

A variable with exponent 0 is always equal to 1.

14) (2 x) / (3 x^3) = 2 / (3 x^2)   because x^0=1

16) 1/k  because you simplify 3 k^2

18) (a^2)/2  because you simplify a^3

20) 1/(n^5)     because n^0=1
