EVALUATION STRATEGIES FOR CHANGE STRATEGIES
Evaluation strategies for change strategies
Introduction
Organizational change infers to the movement of an organization from one state of affairs into
another. Changes in the environ calls for changes within the organization operating within this
environment. As such, changes in various organizations meet resistance, with different cultures
posing different reactions to the change and the means of promoting this change. Having the
change strategies for the organization, then there needs an evaluation of the strategy meant to
ensure the various change initiatives are on the right track (Lindberg, 2013). Evaluation is a
systematic determination of the subject's worth, merit and the significance, by use of method
governed by specific standards. This helps the organization design, program, project, or any
other initiative to assess the realizable concepts for decision making concerning the core goals
and ensure that the results are completed. In this paper, the main discussion centres at evaluation
strategies for the change strategies. This is to be presented to the President who has asked for the

Commonly used evaluation strategies for change strategies
The three main evaluation methods for change strategies are process-based, goal-based, and
outcomes-based. The goal-based evaluation measures whether the objectives have been or not
achieved (Lindberg, 2013). The process-based evaluation method analyzes the weak points and
strengths. The outcome-based evaluation method examines broadly on the impacts and often
investigates the greater good served due to the project or program.

systematic way of determining if a program has already achieved its intended goals/purpose
(2020). In this case, the outcome-based evaluation is for checking if the various change strategies
are on the right path towards yielding their intended purposes. Having an organized process of
developing this model aids an organization articulate and establishes clear outcomes; identify the
various ways for measuring the benefits, clarifying the specific group/individuals for which the
program’s benefits are intended. It also helps in designing that reach the addressed audience for a
