Steve Jobs is among the most famous people both in the United States and globally. His
fame spread after becoming one of the cofounders of Apple Inc., a company that many people in
America and other parts of the world recognize. The article "From Steve Jobs to Tim Cook –
Apple" by Lussier and Achua, provides leadership detail about cofounder Steve Jobs and the
transition to another CEO, Tim Cook. Since when Tim Cook was given the leadership position
as the CEO of the Apple Company, he has demonstrated various leadership elements and
successfully performed a variety of managerial roles that demonstrate his skills as a leader. This
essay aims at providing a comprehensive summary of Lussier and Achua’s article and dives into
establishing how the three elements of leadership that include influence, organizational
objectives, and people apply to the leading case of Tim cook. Additionally, Tim Cook’s strongest

Typically, many people have come across the name of Apple Company and probably
heard about its founder, Steve Jobs. This legendary US investor and Apple’s cofounder
incorporated the company when he was 21 years and successfully created the first Apple
computer. The company thrived, and by the time he was 25, it had attained a net worth of
twenty-five million dollars (Lussier & Achua, 2016). This increased Steve Jobs’ recognition as a
proficient CEO, and he was constantly listed and ranked among the great American leaders of
the time. After realizing his potential, Steve became zealous, and as a result, he ventured into

other companies such as NeXt and Pixar. NeXt was a computer development platform, while
Pixar is a famous animation studio. In 2006, he decided to sell and transfer the company’s total
ownership to Disney. This was after he had partnered with Disney and created numerous
animated films (Lussier & Achua, 2016). However, despite the ownership transfer, he remained
the largest shareholder of the Pixar Company.
