I’m stuck on a Statistics question and need an explanation.

What type should I use to test the hypothesis Ho: There is no relationship between the wages paid per hour (IV) and employee turnover rate (DV); H1: There is a relationship between the wages paid per hour (IV) and employee turnover rate (DV)

you can use mulch-variate regression to test the hypothesis. because there are 2 variables being used in the testing. one variable will be dependent and the other will be independent.

through this test you can check the effect of 2 variables together for example 

wages paid per hour being X (dependent variable)

employee turnover rate being Y (independent variable)

you can check the effect of X on Y and similarly effect of Y on X
