How much more output (income) per year will have to be produced in the world just to provide the 2.7 billion “severely” poor population with $1 more output per day?

2.7 billion * 1 * 365 (could be 366/365.24 by preference)=nine hundred eighty-five billion five hundred million or 985.5 billion.

b) do we assume they all make $2 a day? 2*365=730.

5000-730=4270 per person per year.
4270*2.7=11 529 billion. Or basically create a new US.
