The article I chose was from CNN and is attached here https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/17/health/bpa-bisphenol-a-plastics-canned-foodsdeath-wellness/index.html. The article is titled "High BPA levels linked to 49% greater risk of death within 10 years, study says". The article does cite a source that supports the percentage reported. A study done by the JAMA Network Open showed that people that had higher levels of BPA in their urine were 49% more likely to die during a ten year period. The article is attempting to persuade the reader to no longer use daily items that contain high levels of the BPA chemicals such as receipts, canned food, and plastic food containers. The action would then result in lower amount of BPA entering into people's bodies which would, therefore, cause less death due to BPA chemicals (Lamotte, 2020). I do not believe that the author of the article has any motivation for exaggerating the problem. The second article I chose was from PCRM and is attached here https://www.pcrm.org/news/news-releases/new-review-study-shows-egg-industry-fundedresearch-downplays-danger-cholesterol. The title of this article is "New Review Study Shows That Egg-Industry-Funded Research Downplays the Danger of Cholesterol". The data for this study was collected from 1950- March 2020 and closely followed a group of people who ate eggs every day vs. not and saw a significantly higher number of heart diseases linked to eating eggs every day. The data collection method was an observational study. I believe that the data is representation of the population because the study looks at over 153 different studies that are related to their research to best determine the outcomes (PCRM). LaMotte, S. (2020, August 17). High BPA levels linked to 49% greater risk of death within 10 years, study says. Retrieved from https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/17/health/bpa-bisphenol-aplastics-canned-foods-death-wellness/index.html New Review Study Shows That Egg-Industry-Funded Research Downplays the Danger of Cholesterol. (n.d.). Retrieved from https://www.pcrm.org/news/news-releases/new-review-studyshows-egg-industry-funded-research-downplays-danger-cholesterol I found the graph below after I decided to choose poverty as the identifier and then spent time browsing "official" graphs and information provided by a Google search. The information came from the Legislative Analysts' Office of California and was meant to describe the difference in the method used to measure poverty from the previous method to the current one. While there is a difference in the methods used to gather the data (Official Poverty Measure v. Research Supplemental Poverty Measure), the information provided by this graph misrepresents the data to make it appear that California has a much larger population defined as in poverty due to federal methods not taking into account for California's higher housing costs. Poverty across the United States is very relative to location and I believe this graph may be misused in order to gain more government funding for various programs or initatives.

Lifestyle can be held as the subject of discussion on the two selected articles.
Specifically, both articles cite that lifestyle plays a substantial role in the determination of the
health condition of people. According to LaMotte (2020), the intake of dried or fresh foods and
the use of glass in storing and buying foods prevent exposure to Bisphenol A (BPA). Thus, to
mitigate BPA death-related case...
