The chosen company is Saud Bahwan Group based in Oman. The company has a market
presence in diversified fields like travel and tourism, automotive, real estate, oil, and gas as well
as heavy equipment.
An example of a committee in the company is the marketing committee which is
responsible for marketing activities in the company. Marketing is one of the important aspects of
any given business if the firm wishes to diversify and reach out to a wider market. The marketing
committee is responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing plan. The
marketing plan guides the company in the identification of the potential markets as well as the
specific needs of the markets to come up with products that will satisfy the customers. The
marketing committee also establishes the entry strategy in new markets as well as the marketing
programs used by the business to attract more customers.
A task force is a small group of individuals, normally 3 to 6 people with certain skills
who come together to accomplish a specified short term task. A task force is mainly established
to study a given issue in the business. An example of a task force in Saud Bahwan Group is the
employee benefits taskforce. The task force was established to come up with recommendations
on the benefits that can be extended to employees to motivate them to perform better. It was
established that the performance of employees had remained constant for some time hence there
was a need to motivate them to perform better. Some of the recommendations that the task force
came up with was the promotion of high performing employees, training, and development of
employees that do not perform well as well as paid leave to workers to keep them motivated.

Teams are important in an organization. One of the important teams in an organization is
the product development team who ensures the right product is developed within the right time.
An example of a product development team in the company is the user-centered team. This
product development team mainly focuses on product users and their specific needs. The team
examines whether the customers are satisfied with the products being offered to them. For
instance, in the tour and travel business, the team focuses on what they can do better to attract
more customers (Fisher, K. (2000). They sought for suggestions and feedback from clients to
