The topic is on the thoughts of the people making the same sex marriage legal or illegal.
The results are grouped as done by the republicans, independents and democrats. The sample
size used is N = 1,280 and the margin error is ±3. From the polls 58 % of the individuals wanted
the marriages to be legal, 33% voted for not legal and 9% was unsure (Polling Report, 2016).
The use of the polls is important as it shows what people prefer, and it is done by using a sample
of the whole population. The accuracy of the poll is important in the determination of the
population diversity. The choosing of the sample is done in a way that there is no compromise of
the results. From the result it is seen that the majority of the population advocate for the
