There are different assessment types aimed at identifying talented and gifted students and
monitoring their ongoing progress. One is achievement tests, which determine whether students
belong to a more advanced level than their peers. These tests may include standardized tests like
SRA, SATs, and MATs or specific academic tests such as language, Math, or Arts and allows
students to portray all their knowledge ("Tests & Assessments | National Association for Gifted
Children", 2020). Examples of achievement assessments mainly designed for advanced learners
include the Screening Assessment for Gifted Elementary Students (SAGES) and the Test of
