The concept of random drug testing was introduced in the United Kingdom I the year 2005,
with a school in Kent being the first one to have the tests conducted on their student. Since
then, many schools have implemented this random drug testing with an aim of eliminating
the use of drugs by students. The idea is to conduct drug tests when the students least expect.
The unsuspecting students who are drug users are caught, and measures are taken to deal with
them. The idea of not testing the students who are not involved in athletics is not fair and
does not identify all the students in the school who use the drugs.
