Teen pregnancy is a rampant phenomenon in contemporary society. While most
statistics reported by healthcare providers continue to indicate positive outcome, the risk of teen
pregnancy continues to have far-reaching consequences that may even limit future projections on
the victims. Teenagers are at risk socially, mentally, emotionally and physically. It is of these
assertions that this paper seeks to draw a medical care plan for teen pregnancy and outlines the

Medical plan for the pregnant teen
Physiological: The physician will educate victims on the nutritional requirements and
assist them in determining their preferred food to meet the new dietary needs. Procedures for all
